FamilyTreeNow Opt Out & Data Removal Guide
FamilyTreeNow is a free genealogy website that doubles as a people search site. By typing in only a first and last name, you can gain access to information such as the person’s current and past addresses, phone numbers, and age.
FamilyTreeNow advertises that thanks to their site, you can find family members and possible relatives and create your own family tree. Even though this seems like a lot of data, FamilyTreeNow states that it gathers this information solely from public records and some other open sources.
That said, just because the data is supposedly legal, it doesn’t mean you want your Personally Identifiable Information available to strangers through the FamilyTreeNow website.
Fortunately, you can remove your personal data from FamilyTreeNow’s records. Follow our opt-out guide to see your information disappear in a matter of days.
