  2. Start the data removal process at https://www.ownerly.com/app/optout/search/
  3. Search for your record and click search
  4. Find your listing and click “proceed to opt out”
  5. Enter your email address, solve the CAPTCHA, and click Send Verification Email
  6. Check your inbox and confirm your record removal request

  1. Begin the opt-out process at https://www.ownerly.com/

    Opt out: Ownerly 1-1

    Go to the Ownerly webpage, scroll down to the bottom of the site, and click the “do not sell my personal information” button. 

  2. Start the data removal process at https://www.ownerly.com/app/optout/search/

    Opt out: Ownerly 1-2

    Click on the “do not sell my info” button. You will be redirected to BeenVerified.

  3. Search for your record and click search

    Enter your first and last name into the search bar, select your state, and click “search.” 

  4. Find your listing and click “proceed to opt out”

    Find your record on the results list and click the “proceed to opt out” button.

  5. Enter your email address, solve the CAPTCHA, and click Send Verification Email

    Type in your email address, complete the CAPTCHA challenge, and click “send verification email.”

    TIP: Use a throwaway email address to prevent data brokers from obtaining any additional personal information.

  6. Check your inbox and confirm your record removal request

    Head to your inbox and click the “verify opt-out” button in the confirmation email. 

7. Continue your data removal journey
