GoLookUp.com is a people search site that collects personal information and publishes it online for anyone to look up. A quick search on this website might reveal details such as your social media profiles, criminal records, assets, licenses and permits, relationship status, and more.

Thankfully, getting your personal information off this data broker site is super quick, though if you’re not careful, you might end up giving away more information than the website already has

3. Continue your data removal journey

GoLookUp is just one of around 4,000 data brokers in the world. Dozens, if not hundreds, of other people search sites are likely to have your personal information.

Since these websites usually share information amongst themselves and are responsible for spreading that personal information online, we highly recommend you remove your data from them all.

Just do a quick online search for your name to reveal some of the people search sites selling your information. Unfortunately, many more won’t show up in these searches. You’ll also have to research which data brokers operate in your area and send opt-out requests blind.

Follow our other opt-out guides to help you on this journey. You’ll find most of the usual culprits there.  Or you can start from these guides:

You can also subscribe to our automated data removal service. Incogni uses a unique algorithm to match you with data brokers that are likely to have your personal information and sends out dozens of data removal requests at a time.
