RedPlum Mailing List Opt Out & Data Removal Guide

RedPlum, now known as RetailMeNot, is a coupon company that sends out junk mail such as vouchers, coupons, and special offers. While some can come in handy, receiving an endless barrage of mostly irrelevant coupons can be quite a nuisance, too.

Thankfully, you can stop RedPlum from clogging up your mailbox by submitting a super easy opt-out form. It’ll only take a minute to fill out, but expect it to take around six weeks before you stop receiving so much junk mail.

Follow our instructions below and check out our other opt-out guides to help get your contact details off other mailing lists and data broker sites.

4. Continue your data removal journey

If a company like RedPlum has your address and contact details, it is very likely that others do too. Your personal information is very valuable and sensitive. There is a $250+ Bn industry built around data trade. The companies that ply this trade are called data brokers.

This is how RedPlum and other businesses get your contact details. Data brokers collect and trade your phone numbers, addresses, browsing histories, demographic information, even health and financial information, and much more to sell to marketing companies, individuals online, or other data brokers.

Not only does this expose you to nuisances like robocalls, junk mail, and spam, but it also increases the risk of scams, identity theft, online harassment and stalking, and discrimination

To keep your personal information from spreading online and being misused, we recommend you opt-out from all data brokers that have your personal information.
