Rehold Opt Out & Remove Your Info

If you’re fortunate enough to own property, you’re probably already aware of many of the publicly available sources that sprout up with your property records and other property information. These sources serve important purposes, verifying your ownership and the property’s sales history.

Things can go wrong, though, when a data broker like Rehold crawls, scrapes, and analyzes billions of public records and sells access to the profiles it generates to anyone who’s willing to pay.

Luckily, the Rehold opt-out process is fairly quick and painless. All you have to do is find your matching result, click on “information control,” and complete the process to have your Personally Identifiable Information removed.

Our step-by-step guide will show you how to opt out of Rehold with a minimum of fuss while avoiding some of the privacy pitfalls that companies like this build into their opt-out procedures.

Your records should be gone from Rehold.com within 48 hours. If they’re not, try contacting Rehold directly at removals-rehold@rehold.com. You can turn to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to file a complaint if you don’t receive a reply within a reasonable timeframe.

With any luck, you’ll get your personal information off of Rehold’s website. Data brokers tend to re-add records after they’ve been successfully removed. To make sure your listing doesn’t reappear on the site, check back regularly and resubmit opt-out requests as necessary.

Opting out of the other websites that might have your personal information takes an estimated 304 hours. And that’s just the first pass—if you want to keep your personal information off these websites, you’ll have to restart each process every few months.
