Acxiom Opt Out & Data Removal Guide
Acxiom is a consumer data marketing company that scrapes the internet looking for personal information about US citizens. It collects this data and sells it to various third parties, basically anyone who’s willing to pay.
Companies like Acxiom can put you at serious risk by exposing your sensitive information. With your data out there, you’re more likely to fall victim to cybercrime, from phishing scams to identity theft. Not to mention annoying marketing offers and spam mail.
To keep your private data private, be careful who you share it with and remove yourself from data broker and people search sites. Below you will find a step-by-step guide that will help you send an opt-out request to Acxiom, which is just one out of many such companies.
